I am currently a full-time employee at Foundever, working as a Benefits Administrator for four U.S.-based companies: AECOM, Cardinal Health, Otis Elevator Company, and Carrier Corporation. My role involves managing employee benefits, providing assistance with healthcare, and insurance benefits, and ensuring compliance with each company's policies and regulations. The position has been remote, but the work-from-home setup is about to end, and I am seeking new opportunities to continue applying my skills in a flexible or permanent remote environment.
In my role, I handle inbound, outbound, and email support for employees needing assistance with their benefits. This includes enrollment, eligibility verification, and policy clarifications. Employees frequently reach out with questions about medical, dental, vision, life insurance and voluntary benefit options. I guide them through the details of their benefits packages, helping them make informed decisions regarding their coverage.
Additionally, I conduct outbound follow-ups to address pending benefits applications, missing documentation, and open claims. I also manage email inquiries, assisting employees with concerns related to benefits changes, dependent verification, COBRA coverage, and policy updates.
Given the complexity of employee benefits administration, I continuously keep myself informed on company-specific policies, industry regulations, and annual enrollment changes. I also participate in virtual training sessions and team meetings to ensure I am always providing the most accurate and up-to-date information to employees.
The position has required me to develop strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and multitasking skills, all while ensuring the confidentiality and security of employee information. I have gained expertise in using benefits administration software, CRM platforms, and secure data management tools to effectively support employees.
Although this role is coming to an end due to the remote setup changing, it has strengthened my expertise in benefits administration, customer service, and virtual assistance. I am now seeking a permanent remote position where I can continue using my skills in employee benefits management and support in a long-term, flexible environment.
